Upper McKenzie Community Center

The Disaster Preparedness Fair has been
rescheduled to May 18, 2024.
The Lookout Fire is so close to McKenzie Bridge and many agencies are using the Upper McKenzie Community Center as their command center and meeting point, and we want to continue to support the firefighting efforts for our community.
Many of our community members have already evacuated, or are in the Level 1 evacuation zone. The UMCC is in the Level 1 zone, so it doesn't seem appropriate to have a large event at this time.
We have decided to postpone the Disaster Preparedness Fair until our community and their properties are no longer in danger and we are safe to gather for an event.
Most of our vendors and presenters for the Disaster Preparedness Fair are actively involved in this fire in one way or another, and we want to thank you for all of your efforts. We appreciate everything everyone is doing to protect and support our community.
