Community Potluck and Discussion

Mckenzie Community Communications/Upper Mckenzie GMRS Radio Net is co-hosting this community potluck event with Upper Mckenzie Community Center to help connect neighbors during outages and disasters.
Lane County's new emergency manager, Monica Larcom, will also be attending.

SAIL Classes
Stay Active and Independent for Life
The Upper McKenzie Community Center is excited to announce free exercise classes starting October 5th!
Each SAIL class (Stay active and Independent for life) will be taught by a qualified instructor.
Designed for folks 65 and older but great for all ages, you can sit or stand as exercises are great for all levels of ability and activity. This program is designed to improve strength, flexibility, endurance and balance, all with the aim of keeping you healthier, active and fit. It’s a fun and physical workout that can help
prevent unplanned gravity events.
Sign up now to register for this fun and physical workout, designed to improve strength, flexibility, endurance and balance.
Each class is for one hour and will start promptly at 9am every Monday and Wednesday from 9-10am at the UMCC so plan to be early.
Class size is limited so register now to secure your spot.
Please include your name and cell phone number in the email and we’ll get you the registration info!
There is no cost for the class. Please donate to the UMCC if you can to keep classes like this going.

Muy Thai and Jiu Jitsu
All you need to bring is a t-shirt and a pair of shorts!
$10 a class, run time is 1 hour.
Mouth guard and water bottle recommended.
