No one will be turned away
In this group you will be guided to settle in to meditation, settle down a bit in your minds and bodies, take some deep breaths and begin letting go of the concerns of the day.
Next, bringing focus to your heart center. Filling yourself, caring for yourself first with love and compassion and then also sending that love out into the world.
Each week the meditation and theme will vary.
No experience necessary.
Leave feeling better than when you came in.
Everyone is at different levels of experience with meditating. One wonderful thing about meditating in a group is that the energy and intention of each helps to raise the capacity within the group.
The class will start with 10-15 minutes with of guided meditation, and meditating silently for another 10-20 minutes depending on who's present.
About your meditation teacher:
Miché Meizner has been meditating and working with guided visualizations for decades. Studied Tibetan Buddhism and meditation for 8 years with formally trained Lamas, is a Certified Life Coach, and has trained in half a dozen or more different energy work/healing modalities i.e. Reiki, Theta Healing, The Reconnection as well as having established my own energetic and personal growth modality.

Community
First Aid and CPR Classes
This AHA Heartsaver course is offered at a lower rate to the McKenzie River community at the Upper McKenzie Community Center in partnership with the McKenzie River Community School.
This course combines first aid with CPR/ AED training to give anyone in the McKenzie River community a broad base of lifesaving skills.
Being an hour from town in a rural setting, we often face challenges (power outages, wildfires, snow storms, floods, etc) that are not encountered in urban settings , where EMS can respond in minutes.
Having survived multiple disasters, it is beneficial to our community to have the skills and knowledge to act when faced with an emergency.
Classroom time for the full First Aid/ CPR/ AED course is 6 hours.
This can also be split into 2 courses.
First Aid only: 3 hours
CPR/AED only: 3 hours
Full First Aid/ CPR/ AED price - $25
First Aid only or CPR/AED only price - $16.50
Upon completion, students receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver® K-12 First Aid/ CPR/ AED Certification e-card valid for 2 years.
