GONG SOUND BATH
Saturday, January 18th • 2:15 PM
Upper McKenzie Community Center
$30 per person • $50 for two
A New Moon community gong bath offering deep release, gentle integration, and a grounded space to reset and prepare.
Doors open at 2:00 pm. The experience begins promptly at 2:15 pm, and doors will close at that time to preserve a quiet, uninterrupted space.
This New Moon community gong bath offers a quiet, grounding space for deep release and deep integration.
The experience begins with a gentle settling-in and brief guided meditation, supporting participants in arriving fully in their bodies and the present moment. This is followed by a gong-centered sound journey of approximately 45 minutes, accompanied by complementary instruments and spacious silence.
The sound arrangement is intentionally crafted to hold a shared field of release and integration — supporting what is ready to soften, complete, and reorganize at this time of year. The experience emphasizes rest, embodiment, and quiet preparation, allowing clarity and readiness to emerge naturally.
Participants are encouraged to bring a yoga mat or blanket, along with a pillow and any additional layers or support needed to rest comfortably on the floor.
A sense of physical comfort greatly supports the body’s ability to receive sound.
Extra hydration the day before and the day of the event is highly recommended, as hydration and electrolyte balance help the body receive vibrational sound more smoothly and deeply.
No prior experience with sound baths or meditation is necessary. Come as you are.
